About The Windmill Inn

The Windmill Inn was fully refurbished in July 2012, opening our doors on the 4th of August 2012.

Our head chef (Alan Morgan) and head front of house (Steve Bazeley) own the business and are very much hands on!

Our Head Bar and Waiting staff offer vast experience and support the team in all ways. It is a happy environment and pleasurable place to work which reflects on customer experience. We are a team!

We pride our selves on quality at all levels. Our goal is simply for our customers to enjoy their time with us.

We firmly believe that only with quality comes success and always welcome your comments as a means of ensuring that all of our customers, both new and old, continue to enjoy their visit to The Windmill Inn.

The Windmill Inn

The origins of the Windmill Inn appear to be with the beer house that was set up by the miller John Barrs sometime during the 1850s. For some forty years John Barrs was both a corn miller and beerseller.

When the windmill was eventually demolished, the beerhouse remained and now trades as a busy, popular public house and restaurant
