The Windmill Inn is a reputable pub/restaurant on the outskirts of Newbold Verdon in the heart of Leicestershire.

We are looking for.....

  • An enthusiastic Head Chef to motivate and train our kitchen brigade.

  • A Head Chef who loves food, with a creative passion to present dishes that our customers will love equally.

  • A Head Chef who is an experienced professional, clean, organised with high hygiene standards and management skills.

  • A Head Chef who is proven, takes pride in working with quality, fresh food and gets real satisfaction from menu development and seeing others develop around them.

Waiter/Waitress

Full / Part time Waiter/Waitress Opportunities!!

An ideal opportunity for dynamic people looking for full/part or seasonal opportunities, in a successful pub/restaurant located in West Leicestershire with a fabulous reputation, serving modern but rustic British cuisine with a very specific style.

The staff at the Windmill /Reservoir Inns focus hard on creating the environment, service and dining experience that we believe our customers have come to expect and enjoy.

We are always on the lookout for Waiters/Waitresses that will embrace this role, and become part of our “family”, working as part of a tight-knit team. The Windmill and Reservoir Inns offer a unique opportunity to be part of a fun and friendly approach to dining.

The Waiter/Waitress role will involve staff in all front of house. Skill development will be ‘hands on’ and teamwork and cross training will be key to the candidates success.

In keeping with the fun, high standards of our brand, we require friendly, impeccable, service-led, hospitality professionals to join us in creating and delivering our unique style.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience useful but not essential.
  • Excellent level of spoken English

  • Numerate and literate

  • An interest and a passion for great food and beverage

  • Outstanding social and interpersonal skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Flexible attitude and willingness to take on tasks as necessary

  • High standards with regards to personal appearance and hygiene

    Here’s what you’d do:

  • Pre and post service preparation

  • Taking food and drink orders (once experienced)

  • Serving tables with a friendly attitude
  • Providing a complete dining experience

Sous Chef

  • An up and coming Chef who yearns the experience of a real and fun working kitchen and the rewards that it brings.

  • A Chef who understands the importance of regulations and applies high standards of hygiene to suit.

  • A Chef who is confident and gains pleasure from assisting in menu development and food quality and continuity.
  • An ambitious Chef who is looking for personal development and real progression within the trade.

  • A team player who can direct and educate younger chefs / apprentices.
